Now starring in Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ, actor James Caviezel's film credits include starring roles in The Thin Red Line, Frequency, Angel Eyes, The Count of Monte Cristo, and High Crimes. His success has not caused him to lose sight of what is most important, his Catholic faith. He has been to Medjugorje three times, and has been a featured speaker at the 2002 conference.

Speakers at Previous Conferences. An interesting array of speakers have given talks and testimonies at the National Medjugorje Conference - ranging from an ex-convict who started a Rosary prayer group in prison - to the United States Ambassador to the European Communities, Alfred Kingon.
Three of the Medjugorje visionaries have come to speak at Notre Dame - Mirjana Soldo, Ivanka Elez and Ivan Dragicevic. Some of the other speakers include, Fr. Jozo Zovko, Fr. Rene Laurentin, Fr. Edward O'Connor, eight different bishops, Sr. Briege McKenna, Sr. Emmanuel, Coach Lou Holtz, Michael Brown, Lola Falana, Fr. John Corapi, David Parkes and Maria Esperanza.
All of the conference talks are audio and video taped and are available for on-site and mail order purchase.

Queen of Peace Ministries sponsors the National Medjugorje Conference at Notre Dame each year, and throughout the year spreads Our Lady's message via television and print publications. In the South Bend area, visitors are welcome to attend monthly Mass and other events.
